As an elderly female I had been troubled by several issues involving my children and grandchildren. Stuart was able to help me understand their problems and then was able to help one of them with a very involved criminal case. I know before visiting with Stuart that my opinion of lawyers was 180 degrees different than it is now. I found him to be honest-almost to a fault-and very trustworthy. I would not hesitate in sending anyone I know to see him, nor would I hesitate in returning to him.

I wholeheartedly recommend Stuart Shafer for counsel/representation on any legal matters. Stu Shafer helped my son with alcohol related charges. Dumb kid. My son a got a good deal. More than that he got a strong lesson from Shafer- not the just the lesson that a great lawyer can get you off. Shafer connected with my son. No one likes having to see a lawyer. Unfortunately, what seemed to be an irreconcilable dispute developed between my business partners. After many frustrating months of trying to handle the dispute on my own, I contacted Mr. Shafer who was referred by a business acquaintance. Mr. Shafer not only understood the law but also had a sense of the business and my particular needs. He was tough when necessary (not at all afraid to litigate), but also a deft negotiator.
